Student Council Resolution No.__ Series of 2008

A RESOLUTION FOR THE WEEKLY ‘WORD MADE FLESH" CORNER

AT THE SC BULLETIN BOARD

WHEREAS,

there is a need for the students to be reminded of the Christian teachings;

WHEREAS,

there is no concrete religious instruction or religious organization in the College that can respond to the religious and spiritual needs of the students;

WHEREAS,

the College is not a religious institution but also needs an organization that can remind the students their spiritual dimension as human beings;

WHEREAS,

being an institution of teacher education the religious and spiritual needs of the students shall be well responded so that the College will not only produce high-quality teachers but also God-fearing teachers;

WHEREAS,

the "WORD MADE FLESH" will showcase passages both from the Old and New testaments of the Bible, words from the Saints, and a Bible Trivia;

WHEREAS,

in the absence of an organization that can cater this necessity, the Student Council (SC), being the umbrella organization of the College, will sponsor such activity as part of its continuing service to the studentry;

WHEREAS,

in a meeting of the SC officers, the officers agreed to sponsor the "WORD MADE FLESH" corner to be posted in a designated area of the SC Bulletin Board and to be updated weekly;

NOW THEREFORE,

be resolved as it is resolved to sponsor the "WORD MADE FLESH" corner at the SC Bulletin Board;

RESOLVED FINALLY,

that copies of the said resolution be furnished to the office of the Students’ Activity Coordinator, the Dean of the College of Teacher Education, and the Director of the Student Services and Development for their information and approval.
